S’mores Nachos Recipe

Ingredients:

Aluminum foil
8″x8″ foil pan (adjust size if needed)
Graham crackers, broken into pieces
Mini marshmallows
Semi-sweet chocolate chips
Regular-sized marshmallows
Optional toppings: caramel bits, mint chips, bananas, peanut butter, strawberry jam, sprinkles, etc.
Instructions:

Prepare your cooking method: If cooking over a campfire, make sure to have a grate or use a portable one. If using a grill, use a cast iron skillet. For oven baking, a heavy skillet will work well.

Line the foil pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Layer the ingredients: Start by placing a layer of broken graham crackers at the bottom of the pan. Add a layer of mini marshmallows, followed by a layer of semi-sweet chocolate chips. Repeat the layers as desired.

Top the nachos: Finish with a few regular-sized marshmallows on the top.

Cooking over a campfire:

Place the foil pan on the grate over the campfire.
Grill the nachos for approximately 7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and the chocolate has melted. Keep a close eye to prevent burning.
Grill cooking (using a cast iron skillet):

Preheat your grill to medium heat.
Place the foil pan with the nachos on the grill.
Grill for approximately 7 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and the chocolate has melted. Monitor closely to avoid burning.
Oven baking:

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
Place the foil pan with the nachos in the oven.
Bake for approximately 10 minutes or until the marshmallows are golden brown and the chocolate has melted.
For extra crispy marshmallows, move the skillet to a higher oven rack for an additional minute or two, watching carefully to prevent burning.
Optional toppings: Serve the S’mores nachos as they are, or enhance the flavors by adding your favorite toppings. Consider options like caramel bits, mint chips, sliced bananas, peanut butter, strawberry jam, sprinkles, or any other toppings of your choice.

Enjoy: Serve the S’mores nachos while they’re still warm and gooey. They can be enjoyed directly from the pan or portioned onto plates for sharing.
